Budding local artist Lilly House
Lilly House, 5, who attends Hollymount School in Cambridge Road entered the competition run by Essex-based ICT charging and security specialist LapSafe Products in which youngsters were asked to draw something which made them happy.
Judge Mahila Samarbaksh, Colchester District Business Woman of the Year, said:
“The standard of entries has been exceptionally high, with artists’ personalities shining through into their drawings. Lilly has done incredibly well to make the final 15 out of so many children.”
Lilly’s picture of herself playing football with her cousin has earned her a £5 book token and our hearty congratulations!
The overall winner was Verity Walker from Romford, who won a ClassBuddy charging trolley (see below) and five netbooks for her school.
The Happy Art Competition was open to all primary school and SEN pupils in the UK to celebrate the launch of the ClassBuddy storage and charging trolley, a safe, secure and cost-effective solution to manage mobile ICT in schools. The ClassBuddy trolley is part of a new range of laptop storage and charging cabinets that enable LapSafe Products to provide a mobile ICT management solution to meet every need and budget.
