At Hollymount we have a strong, flourishing, dynamic Parent Teacher
Association (PTA) to which all parents automatically become
members. This enables parents and staff to work together to provide
fund raising activities, social functions and educational evenings.
The Association works extremely hard for the school and is
particularly welcoming of new parents who would like to lend a
hand. There are usually two meetings each term to discuss social
and fundraising events.
The Association is only as active as the membership and so if you
have any ideas for involving parents in fundraising or social events
please let us know.
The PTA organises a wide variety of events each year including, quiz
nights, children’s discos, summer family barbecue, cake sales,
Christmas fair, and culminating in Hollymount Day Summer Fair in
June.
A large amount of money is raised by the PTA each year and it makes
an incalculable contribution to the school.
We hope that you
