Outstanding Site and Facilities Manager to work in a

thriving and supportive primary school

 

Hours:              35 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

Working Hours: Mon-Thursday:  7am–10:30 & 2:30pm–6pm Friday 7am–11am & 2:30pm-5:30pm

                       Hours can be variable during school holidays

Annual Leave:   All annual leave is taken during school holidays.

Grade:              ME6 Scale points 7-10  £22,376 -£23,606 + Overtime (Pay award pending)

Site & Facilities Manager – Required asap

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, organised and dedicated Site & Facilities Manager with excellent communications skills.  You must be able to fully undertake, lead and manage all premises issues to ensure our school site remains fully compliant and is maintained to the highest of standards.

We want to hear from you if you have excellent up to date knowledge of health and safety procedures and want to take responsibility for the management and maintenance of our school buildings and grounds. The role is pivotal in ensuring pupils are able to learn in a safe, secure and vibrant learning environment.

The candidate must:

  • Be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and flexible
  • Be self-motivated, proactive and show initiative
  • Be a team player and have strong interpersonal skills
  • To take genuine pride in your work and our school
  • Have a good sense of humour

Duties will include:

  • The security of the school site
  • Being primary keyholder for the school site
  • Responding to emergencies and call outs
  • Ensuring the school complies with health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring the statutory routine maintenance is undertaken
  • Undertaking routine repair and maintenance tasks, including working at heights
  • Liaising with all contractors and assisting with the management of site projects.
